I was lucky enough to get the chance to visit my family for a week. Mason and Paige loved it. We had lots of fun playing with Grammie and Paka.  Mason got to help Grammie sew and jump on the trampoline. We were excited that Brittany and her kids came on Tues night and we got to hang out with them and Chris and Julie and their kids also well. We had fun playing with cousins, going to the children's museum, reading books, playing video games, tackling Paka, playing in the rain, watching movies, playing at the park, eating popcorn, baking cookies, and having non-stop fun!

Mason loved spending time with 'Lissa", and even kicked me out of the room so they could play.

Lindsay in her Rapunzel dress for Disney day at school.

Hungry hungry hippos got played a lot and with lots of energy from the kids!

We loved getting to spend time with our family!

Christmas

This year Christmas was fun and mostly relaxed.  We stayed in Bellingham and got to spend time with Christopher's parents and sister Brianne. Mason loved being able to play with his cousins and was thoroughly exhausted at the end of every day.

We went to Grandma B's house Christmas Eve for food, presents and a fun game.  Mason was entertaining to watch open presents because he would be so excited when he opened them, he even hugged about half of his presents.

He really liked the robot toy Grandma B got for him, he played all night with it and took it with him to sleep.

We played a game JB and Debz brought over with a candy/plastic wrapped/ball thing. Dice were being passed around and if you rolled doubles you put socks on your hands and tried to unroll the plastic wrapped ball and get candy out.  If was entertaining to play and watch.  Mason had a lucky streak at the end where 4 turns in a row he rolled doubles.

Mason loved having Christmas decorations up, especially the tree. He cried when we took it down after Christmas.

We all got to open a gift on Christmas Eve, the kids each opened their ornaments. Mason got Santa riding an orca whale.  Paige, whose theme is snowmen, got a snowman that lights up and changes colors inside a ball.

We also all got matching pj's.  The kids looked adorable in their pic together so the adults decided to take one also.

Christmas morning we opened our stockings and presents from Santa. Christopher and I got the next Season of Big Bang Theory, and Mason got a slumber bag with the Avengers on it.  We also got much needed socks and yummy treats, toys, and fun surprises in our stockings...Santa must have known we were good this year!

We ate breakfast and opened the rest of the presents, we let the kids go first since they were anxious.  They all got some pretty cute clothes, and  amazing toys.  Mason loved everything he got and had a hard time picking what will go on his bed at night.

Paige was as happy as could be watching the action and eating the bows off of presents.  She has some more toys that Mason isn't allowed to take away while yelling at her that it is his, more opportunities to practice sharing.

Christopher got some great gifts including; snow boots, an actual "rain" coat, Secret Life of Walter Mitty, a sweet bike helmet, and a flannel shirt he claims is the most comfortable shirt ever, We also got some gift cards we are excited to use.

I got a couple adorable scarfs, running gear, Aladdin, and a comfy sweater.

We had a great Christmas dinner and loved watching the kids enjoy the holiday!
