Cabin- Paige 11 months- CJ b-day

We were lucky enough to get invited by Christopher's sister to go to a cabin for a couple days.  So we borrowed snow clothes for the kids and loaded up.  Mason had a great time spending time with his cousins inside watching movies, playing games, and eating snacks.

He was an animal outside once he got used to walking/falling in the snow.  He went sledding down the hill over and over again never getting tired or complaining.  He loved going by himself on the round disk but spent a ton of time riding with Kaylin!

He was grinning the whole time and would often shout, "yeehaw," or "wahoo!"  He could have spent all day outside playing the snow, throwing snowballs at Christopher and sledding.

Paige was not as excited about being outside in the cold.  She was mostly ok if she was sitting with me on my lap,  but was not very happy sitting directly on the snow, and she would cry if I left her.

We had a fun time playing with family and spending a nice relaxing couple days with them.  It was fun being able to go right outside and play in the snow and be close enough to listen to Paige napping on a monitor.  Even with Mason getting sick and throwing up our last night there we had a great time and Mason has asked to go sledding, and play at the cabin with his cousins.

PAIGE 11 MONTHS

I can't believe she is already so old, and she'll be a year old so soon.  Paige is showing more and more of her personality. She is so stubborn sometimes when we get her bottle ready and show it to her, she will stop moving and just throw her head to the ground and refuses to move until you give her the bottle.

She loves to screech really loud, shake and bounce when music is playing, yells at Mason to get his attention in the car and copy his dance move of throwing his head side to side in their car seats.

She still loves the window and will smack it when someone is coming or leaving that she can see. She holds play phones up to her ears, throws and drops her food on the ground then yells at us for more, loves to eat graham crackers and strawberries.  She constantly has dirty hair either from it hitting her eyes and getting the tips goopy, or from her grabbing at her hair with food all over her hands.

She is such a sneaky girl which is completely opposite of Mason.  She will quietly scooch her way over to the bathroom door then look at us, if we look she bee-lines it in and tries to get to the shower or toilet, if we don't see her heading in she will stay in there and quietly play with all the things we don't let her play with.  When Mason was little he wouldn't play with things that were off limits for long because he would giggle and laugh excitedly giving himself away.

She loves to put things over her head or behind her neck.  She is constantly wearing the toy chain necklace or dragging around some of our clothes from our dirty laundry.

She can stand on her own and could probably walk, but when we stand her up and try to get her to walk she chickens out and drops down to her bum.  If we try to stand her up again she tucks her legs up and refuses to stand.  So stubborn!  So we'll just have to accept that she'll walk when she's ready; I just hope it's sooner than later so she can play outside with us this summer without tearing up all her pants scoohing around n the ground.

She is getting so big and learning so much.  We love her and can't wait for more!

**Mason funnies**
-calls his slippers flip-flops
-loves to sing "Boys of rock and roll"
-calls Christopher "big boy Dad"
-will classify him and Christopher as Big Boys, and Paige and I as girls
-role plays with his animals, giving assigned rolls and has some of them cry and laugh.

It was Christopher's birthday this week.  We had a week long celebration of dinner, cake and gifts at John and Debbie's on Monday, then Wednesday we went to dinner at Red Robin's with his birthday gift card from my parents, and Friday we had his favorite french dips and jello cake.  Mason loved helping him open his presents and thanked Nana and Pop Pop for Christmas!!  He's so silly. Happy birthday Christopher!
