Pearrygin

Perrygin this year was small and relaxed.

We arrived just in time for it to rain and spent a good hour in the car, rushing out to set up tents when the rain let up a little. Paige loved playing with the window and Mason was good as long as he had the kindle.  We eventually got it all set up.

We had a good time playing in the water, relaxing on the beach and going on the boat.

Mason was actually happy to go in the boat this year, and had a lot of fun having a big beach to play on and lots of floaties to use.

He absolutely loved the GTX and would have been on it all day if there had been other young kids to ride with him over and over.

Paige liked the GTX and made a few happy noises while she rode but did not like the wind in her face.

We had our choice of activities and spent time trying new things including teaching some of the boys to ski and wake board.

Mason loved being in the kayak, he even got a chance to ride in one by himself.  He didn't really go anywhere but he had the basic idea of moving the paddle down on either side to get it moving.

Paige is a total  water baby and had to be torn away from playing to eat, take naps, and have a break from the sun.  We made sure to bring lots of books and toys for Mason and Paige to play with since they didn't have other little kids to distract them.

The big boys got to go ride some mountain bike trails one morning and loved it, there may have been a crash but no one was hurt.  They were glad to have a chance to ride some of those trails and get to talk shop about their upcoming bike trip.

We of course had multiple trips to Sheri's. Thank goodness the bees were not terrible and we were able to eat without being attacked.

The weather was great, warm enough to want to be in the water but not too hot that you had to be.
We enjoyed our relaxing week and can't wait for next year when there will have more family to have fun with.
